Could Nattokinase help fight Alzheimer's?

A recent study into Natto and nattokinase, led by Rita P. Y Chen in Taiwan,, has shown that the fermented boiled soybeans could show promise in preventing the formation of amyloid proteins involved in Alzheimer°«s disease.

It°«s the first study of its kind into whether nattokinase, which has been shown to improve blood circulation, could also dissolve the amyloids involved in Alzheimer°«s disease and the research showed promising results. The study was published in the ACS Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.
